Paradise

Paradise is a state of mind,  the way in which you feel. When you

are completely fulfilled and content

with yourself this is when you are at your

state of Paradise. When determining fulfilment

I look at Maslow hierarchy of needs and this

form the bassist and structure of my body of work.

Physiological needs, Safety, Belonging, Esteem and

Self-actualization. Creating A natural environment t

hat has little impact on the environment that works with the

earths plain not against thus the structure is among the

treetops around what pre-exists today, detached from the world,

closer to the heavens. The physiological needs are Reckoned

with shelter, as soon as u approach the cocoon like space having

his almost translucent tunnel creates a sense of accommodation

without feeling overwhelming as a sense of understanding is

triggered referring to the womb. This leads to a sense of safety and

protection that the soft and warm textured interior provides

for the individual. As you move through the space a sense

of familiarity is created alluding to a sense of belonging.

The warm lighting that guides you through the space works in conjunction with the secured and stable pathway that takes

you on this journey, which is juxtaposed with the

exterior being elevated, this confidence leads to

a higher esteem and understanding of ones self.

Finally as you have achieved all the needs

to fulfilment while walking through and

capturing  all the elements of the

cocoon, a sense of self-actualization

 is reached thus creating

Paradise.
